Shelves are made from high density 18mm (3/4") particle or fibre board, covered with a high quality melamine coating, which is much more resistant to scratches, wear and tear etc. than the usual melamine boards available locally or at D.I.Y superstores etc. And they are edged all around with matching material.
The melamines are a very good genuine image of the real wood; it looks perfectly satisfactory and blends with any surroundings.
(Please note: it is not possible to rely 100% on the colour of these digital images. For the exact colour, order a colour sample at only £1.50 including postage and packaging, or £2.00 for a set of all 10 colour samples (as 20x100mm swatches), including postage and packaging).

Suggested uses
Our versatile shelves can be used anywhere around the home, as a display shelf on its own, or several of the same size put together or in a variety of sizes, creating a style of shelving to go well with any setting.
We offer 3 types of finish (edging):
Front edged only - Suitable for internal shelves (e.g. cupboard shelves) where only the front edge is visible. These shelves qualify for a 25% discount on our standard price.
Front+Side edging - Suitable when the shelf will be exposed on the front and sides, e.g. a wall shelf or heater shelf. These shelves qualify for a 10% discount on our standard price.
Full edging - Suitable for a table top or fully exposed shelf where all edges are visible. This finish is also suitable for use as a custom made cupboard door.
